On Saturday morning’s Wrestling Observer radio show, Bryan Alvarez brought up Moose finishing up with Ring Of Honor at Friday night’s Best In The World pay-per-view. Moose was on the receiving end of the 5-Star Meltzer Driver from the Young Bucks before being pinned by Adam Cole. That would seem to indicate that he is on his way to WWE but it looks like things may have changed.
Dave Meltzer simply stated that “things have changed with Moose.” When asked what he meant by that, he added, “nobody knows what’s happening with him.” It’s quite possible that he was offered a better deal to stay with ROH or there are mixed signals being sent out from Moose’s camp since wrestlers that are WWE-bound are asked to stay quiet during contract negotiations.
At age 32, this might be the right time for Moose to make the jump to WWE. WWE has shown interest in him in the past and he’s had some tryouts with them before he signed his most recent ROH contract. He was able to put money away from his days in the NFL so money is not an issue for him and he has said in the past that he’s having the time of his life working for ROH so we’ll see what happens with him in the next couple of months.
Following Friday night’s Best In The World pay-per-view, Moose sent out the following tweet:
Trust me you guys will see More ?
