New ROH TV Champion crowned at “Honor Rising” Night 1 event

Tomohiro Ishii beat Roderick Strong to win the ROH TV Title at Friday’s “Honor Rising” Night 1 event in Tokyo, Japan. The show aired on NJPW World.

Ishii and Strong are scheduled to meet again at Saturday’s “Honor Rising” event in a six-man tag team match.

Strong was scheduled to defend the TV Title against Bobby Fish at next Friday’s 14th Anniversary PPV in Las Vegas. It should be noted that Ishii is scheduled to wrestle Hirooki Goto in a singles match at the pay-per-view event.
