Adam Cole defeated Kyle O’Reilly at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 11 show on Wednesday in Tokyo, Japan at the Tokyo Dome to become the new Ring of Honor World Champions. This is the third time that Cole has held the championship.
There was speculation going into the show that if O’Reily lost the championship then that could indicate that he did not re-sign with ROH when his contract expired on December 31st. There’s still no word on if he re-signed or not.
