News on ACH’s future with ROH, new live event announced

– As noted, ACH, who is currently under an exclusive deal with ROH, was reportedly leaving the promotion at the end of this year. ACH and Ring of Honor have come to a verbal agreement on a mutual release, according to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer. ROH made the decision recently so instead of waiting for the contract to expire, they decided on a mutual release and to part ways.

ACH started with ROH in 2012 and has been touring with New Japan Pro Wrestling, who has a working relationship with ROH. It will be interesting to see if NJPW continues to use ACH in 2017. It’s always possible that ROH has ACH work events for them in the future on a pay-per-appearance deal.

– ROH will be returning to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at Stage AE on Saturday, February 11th, 2017 for a live event. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 11th at 10 AM EST.

– ROH will be holding a training camp on 1/28 and 1/29 with Delirious, Kevin Kelly, Todd Sinclair, Mark & Jay Briscoe, Christopher Daniels, Bob Evans, Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara as coaches. The camp takes place at the ROH Dojo and costs $300. For more info go to [email protected].
