As noted earlier on the site, Jay Lethal, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly re-signed with Ring of Honor recently. Dave Meltzer noted in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that they signed a one-year contract with the promotion. The deals are exclusive.
Before Lethal signed his new deal with ROH, WWE had interested in signing him. WWE was planning to put Lethal in NXT if they were able to sign him.
Here are all of the wrestlers that have signed exclusive deals:
- ROH champion Jay Lethal
- ROH TV champion Roderick Strong
- The Briscoes (Jay & Mark Briscoe)
- The Young Bucks (Nick & Matt Jackson)
- ReDragon (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish)
- Christopher Daniels
Also, Michael Elgin hasn’t signed a new deal with ROH and is working on a per-appearance agreement.
