For the first time in six years, Ring of Honor has created a new championship. The promotion announced on Tuesday that the inaugural ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions would be crowned in an eight-team tournament that begins at the end of September.
Bullet Club, The Cabinet (Rhett Titus, Kenny King, and Caprice Coleman) and the current World Tag Team Champions The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) and Kamaitachi and other teams will be competing in the tournament.
The tournament begins at the All Star Extravaganza PPV event in Lowell, MA on September 30th and continues on October 1st and October 29th in Baltimore. The finals of the tournament will take place at the Final Battle pay-per-view event on December 2nd at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
