– There has been at least some talk of changing the main event of the upcoming Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view event. As of this writing, the current plan for the main event to be Adam Cole vs. Kyle O’Reilly for the ROH World Heavyweight Title. O’Reilly’s contract with the promotion expires on December 31st. If O’Reilly doesn’t sign a new deal with the promotion, then obviously he will not be winning the title. There’s also talk of adding Jay Lethal to the match and making it a triple threat match. The Final Battle PPV takes place on December 2nd at the Hammerstein Ballroom (1,800 capacity) in New York.
– The ROH event that was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the War Memorial Auditorium on October 21st drew 350 fans while the event on October 22nd in Lakeland, Florida at the Lakeland Civic Center drew 400 fans.
– Josh Woods, who was recently released from his WWE developmental contract, worked a tryout match at the ROH event in Lakeland. Woods is a former college wrestling star and MMA fighter.
