The ROH WINTER WARRIORS TOUR has one last stop to make: Nashville! On February 6th, all your favorite ROH stars will be there for a huge television taping. But that’s not all. The WOMEN OF HONOR are coming to Nashville! At our upcoming February 6th, a special spotlight will shine on our incredible female athletes. For months, fans at ROH events have witnessed fantastic Women of Honor action and fans around the world have been watching on our YouTube channel. The message is clear: you want more WOMEN OF HONOR! So on February 6th as part of the Nashville stop of the ROH WINTER WARRIORS TOUR, the night will be full of Women of Honor matches!
In addition to all of the Women of Honor action, fans in Nashville will see an UNPRECEDENTED TAG TEAM EVENT!
SEVEN TEAM GAUNTLET FOR A SHOT AT THE ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
It is no hyperbole to say that Ring of Honor has the deepest tag team division in the world! From top to bottom, tag team wrestling in Ring of Honor has never been better! With so many teams from across the globe vying to make their mark in ROH, ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has issued an open call for the best tag teams in the world to descend upon Music City! In Nashville, a SEVEN TEAM GAUNTLET will take place and the winner will earn a ROH World Tag Team Title shot on Saturday February 27 in Las Vegas!
The first three teams to sign on the dotted line are no strangers to ROH fans. The IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team champions MATT and NICK JACKSON, the YOUNG BUCKS, coming off a huge victory over ACH and ALEX SHELLEY in Collinsville, were the first to sign for this unprecedented gauntlet! The international stars of Bullet Club’s ELITE are looking to capture the ROH World Tag Team Championships for the second time!
But to get there, the Young Bucks will have to get through SIX of the top teams on the planet! The next team to sign has had their fair share of battles with the Bucks throughout the world. RPG VICE, the team of ROCKY ROMERO & BERETTA, defeated the Young Bucks at New Japan’s INVASION ATTACK, to capture the Bucks’ championships back in April! While the Bucks ultimately won the championships back, Beretta and Romero proved very quickly that they were among the best teams on the planet!
And finally, the third team to sign for the seven team gauntlet in Nashville is the TWO MAN SMASH MACHINE reDRagon! With their sights seemingly set on singles’ gold, BOBBY FISH and KYLE O’REILLY have never been more cohesive as a team! Recent victories over KAZARIAN and SABIN and ALL NIGHT EXPRESS on the Winter Warriors tour have put THE GREATEST TEAM ON GOD’S GREEN toward the front of the pack on their quest to win their FOURTH ROH World Tag Team Championships!
With extensive histories between them in New Japan and ROH, the first three teams announced for the tag team gauntlet are sure to bring the fast-paced, hard-hitting action ROH fans are accustomed to! We can be sure reDRagon and the Bucks haven’t forgotten about their classic 2014 trio of encounters and that RPG Vice haven’t forgotten their battles with these teams across the globe! And these are just the FIRST THREE teams to be announced – who knows who will round out the field to compete for a ROH World Tag Team title shot in Las Vegas!
