Ace Austin, a former TNA X-Division and Tag Team Champion, has officially exited TNA Wrestling. The departure comes as Austin’s contract with the promotion has expired.
According to the report, TNA Wrestling did engage in negotiations with the 28-year-old standout for a new contract. However, the two parties were ultimately unable to come to terms on a new agreement, leading to Austin’s departure from the company he first signed with in 2019. Scott D’Amore, in his latest “The D’Amore Drop” column on Yahoo Sports, noted that Austin and TNA Wrestling parted ways on amicable terms.
Austin’s final appearance for TNA Wrestling is scheduled to be on tonight’s episode of their weekly television program. He will be featured in a match against Mustafa Ali, marking the end of his current run with the company.
During his time with TNA, Ace Austin achieved notable success and was consistently highlighted as one of its top young talents. He is a multiple-time TNA X-Division Champion, a title historically associated with some of the most innovative and exciting wrestlers in the industry.
Beyond his singles accomplishments, Austin also found considerable success in the tag team division alongside his partner Chris Bey. As “The ABC” (Ace & Bey Connection) and members of the Bullet Club, they captured the TNA World Tag Team Championships, further solidifying Austin’s reputation as a versatile and valuable performer.
Known for his “Inevitable” persona and high-flying, technical in-ring style, Austin has been a consistent standout in TNA as both a singles competitor and a tag team specialist. His departure will be felt in both divisions.
With his exit from TNA Wrestling, the 28-year-old Ace Austin now becomes a free agent in the professional wrestling landscape. Given his age, experience, and past championship successes, he is expected to be a sought-after talent by other promotions.
