Another Impact Wrestling star signs a ‘long-term contract’

You can add Rich Swann as the latest Impact Wrestling star to sign a new contract.

The company announced on Monday that Swann signed a new “long-term” deal with them. “We are absolutely delighted to announce that @GottaGetSwann has signed a long-term contract with IMPACT Wrestling,” the company said on Twitter.

Swann joined the company in June after being released by WWE earlier this year. He was originally scheduled to wrestle at Slammiversary but he had to pull out after suffering a concussion a few days earlier at MLW’s Battle Riot show in New York City.

Impact previously announced that Tessa Blanchard signed a long-term deal. Dave Meltzer reported that her deal is for 2 years. Eli Drake agreed to a new deal in June. It is clear that Impact wants to get the word about their new signings as a way to continue to get more positive news out now that there seems to be some buzz around them, especially after the excellent Slammiversay pay-per-view.
