TNA Wrestling is facing another departure, as ring announcer Jade Chung has opted not to renew her contract with the company. PWInsider.com reports that Chung informed TNA officials over the weekend of her decision.
Chung’s current contract is believed to expire at the end of the year. Sources close to the company state that TNA offered her a new deal, but Chung ultimately declined.
This weekend’s television tapings in Atlanta appear to be Chung’s final appearances for TNA. Reports indicate she was seen saying goodbye to colleagues on Saturday. Her husband Josh Alexander’s deal expires in February.
As previously noted, Rhino also finished up with TNA and AJ Francis (former WWE star Top Dolla) has his deal coming up soon so there will be several names on the free agent market in the coming weeks.
