Chelsea Green made her return to Impact Wrestling by teaming with her fiance, Matt Cardona, to take on Brian Myers and Tenille Dashwood in a tag team match at Saturday’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event from Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
Cardona and Green were able to pick up the pinfall victory. Green was released by WWE due to budget cuts a few months ago.
This appearance came less than a week ago after she appeared at the ROH Best In The World PPV event. This appearance was to announce her participation in the tournament to crown a new Women’s Champion that starts on July 30th.
Fightful Select reports that her deal to come into Impact was worked out around the same time her plans to go to Ring of Honor came together. Also, she doesn’t have a full-time deal with Impact nor ROH, but rather instead, both companies are aware that she’d be working for both.
