Following her shocking attack on interviewer Gia Miller at TNA Slammiversary this past Sunday, a new report suggests that Tessa Blanchard’s actions could be leading to a first-time-ever program between the two.
Blanchard vs. Miller Program Reportedly Discussed
According to a report from Fightful Select, there have been discussions within TNA about a potential wrestling program between Tessa Blanchard and Gia Miller. While primarily an on-screen interviewer and host, Miller has in-ring experience, having competed for TNA, OVW, and several independent promotions in the past.
A Vicious Attack At Slammiversary
The potential feud stems from the angle at Slammiversary, which took place after Blanchard’s match against Indi Hartwell. A frustrated Blanchard brutally attacked Miller, slapping her and hitting her head repeatedly on the steel steps before security intervened. TNA’s on-screen authority figure, Santino Marella, later suspended Blanchard indefinitely for her actions.
Blanchard’s indefinite suspension is a storyline measure to write her off of television temporarily. It is expected that when she makes her return to the company, she will immediately target Gia Miller, kicking off the newly reported program. TNA has not yet provided a timetable for Blanchard’s return.
