Prior to the match, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton appeared alongside The Elegance Brand. After directing insults toward the live crowd, Hilton introduced the group’s newest associate, “Mr. Elegance.” The new member was revealed to be Andreas Ziegler, formerly known as AJZ during his tenure in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). Ziegler delivered a promotional address before being interrupted by the arrival of the champions.
The broadcast included a commercial break featuring a trailer for the horror film Night Patrol, starring CM Punk and distributed by Shudder/AMC. When coverage resumed, the camera cut backstage to show wrestlers Sol Ruca and Zaria watching the contest on a monitor.
In the ring, Jessie McKay gained early control for her team, clearing The Elegance Brand from the ring. However, outside forces frequently altered the momentum. The Personal Concierge intervened to break up a pinfall attempt by pulling McKay out of the ring. Later in the bout, Cassie Lee knocked Heather from the top rope, but Mr. Elegance caught her, preventing the impact and keeping the challenger in the match.
The conclusion of the match saw The IInspiration setting up for their tandem finishing maneuver, The Idolizer. Mr. Elegance created a distraction on the apron, drawing the referee’s attention. The champions responded by slapping him, and subsequently stopped the Personal Concierge with a knee to the face when he attempted to interfere.
However, with the referee still distracted, Mr. Elegance struck one of the champions from behind. The Elegance Brand capitalized on the strike to secure the pinfall victory, ending The IInspiration’s reign and becoming the new Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
