Former Champion Has Officially Departed TNA Wrestling

Masha Slamovich appears to be finished with TNA Wrestling. The former Knockouts World Champion was removed from the company’s official website on December 9, signaling the end of her tenure with the promotion.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Slamovich is officially done with TNA following the expiry of her contract in late October. She had been a full-time member of the roster since 2021, capturing the Knockouts World Championship once and the Knockouts World Tag Team Championship twice alongside Killer Kelly.

Slamovich has been absent from the wrestling world since September, following serious allegations of domestic abuse made against her by her former partner, fellow wrestler AKIRA. In September, AKIRA’s friend released photos and text messages alleging that Slamovich had been physically and verbally abusive during their relationship.

In response to the allegations, Slamovich released a statement describing their relationship as “toxic and mutually destructive.” Since that statement, she has disappeared from the public eye. TNA did not utilize her at television tapings after September 5, effectively ending her run on-screen well before her contract officially ran out.

The fallout from the allegations extended beyond TNA. Multiple independent promotions cancelled her scheduled bookings, and she was stripped of the Jersey Championship Wrestling Championship shortly after the accusations surfaced. There is currently no word on if or when she intends to return to professional wrestling.
