Former TNA Knockout Arrested In NYC

Former TNA Wrestling star Trenesha Biggers, who was known to fans as Rhaka Khan, was arrested on Saturday morning in New York City. According to a report from TMZ, the arrest was for a criminal trespass charge related to her former apartment.

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that Biggers was escorted out of her former apartment building in Midtown around 11:30 AM. The arrest came after tenants reported that she had remained on the premises without permission, which was in violation of an eviction order she had previously been served.

A Tumultuous TNA Career

Trenesha Biggers first entered the national wrestling scene in 2005 as a contestant in the WWE Diva Search. After a brief stint in WWE’s developmental territory, Deep South Wrestling, she signed with TNA Wrestling in 2008.

As Rhaka Khan, she was immediately pushed as a dominant force, aligning herself with Awesome Kong as part of her “Kongtourage.” During her time with the company, she was involved in prominent storylines and feuds with top Knockouts of the era, including Taylor Wilde and Roxxi. She also served as the valet for Petey Williams and Scott Steiner before her departure from the company in 2009.

A History of Legal Issues

Unfortunately, Biggers’ post-wrestling life has been marked by significant and serious legal troubles. Her most recent arrest is the latest in a long history of legal battles that date back over a decade.

In August 2009, while she was still with TNA, Biggers was in a relationship with fellow TNA star and Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle. During that time, she obtained a protection from abuse (PFA) order against Angle, which led to his arrest for allegedly violating the order. Angle was also charged with possession of human growth hormone (HGH) and driving with a suspended license. A judge later dismissed all charges against Angle, and Biggers voluntarily withdrew the PFA.

More recently, in 2019, Biggers was placed on El Paso’s Most Wanted list for charges of interference with child custody and aggravated kidnapping. She was a fugitive for a period of time before eventually being apprehended.

According to the TMZ report, the recent trespassing incident is not the first time she has caused issues at the New York apartment building, and her neighbors had reportedly “had enough.” As of Saturday afternoon, Biggers was reportedly still in custody at the 17th precinct.
