Former World Champion Says He Is Parting Ways With TNA

Rhino announced today that his time with TNA Wrestling is coming to an end. His last match with the company will take place tomorrow night at Center Stage in Atlanta.

In a statement released earlier today on Facebook, Rhino expressed his gratitude to the fans and clarified his future in professional wrestling:

“Tomorrow night at Center Stage in Atlanta will be the last time EVER I will wrestle in a TNA ring. If you can make it to Center Stage in Atlanta, come and be part of this 5 year chapter of my life and our journey. Thank you to all of the amazing wrestling fans for your support. I’m not done wrestling but TNA and I have parted ways. ”

This news marks the end of Rhino’s latest run with TNA, which began in 2019. During this period, he aligned himself with Violent By Design, a dominant force in the company’s tag team division. He captured the Impact World Tag Team Championships alongside Joe Doering and later Eric Young. Rhino also had a memorable feud with Heath (Heath Slater), culminating in a victory at Hard To Kill 2023.

Rhino boasts a career spanning decades with championships held across multiple promotions. He rose to prominence in ECW in the late 1990s, known for his intense hardcore style and signature Gore move. In WWE, he achieved success as both a tag team wrestler and a singles competitor, capturing the Hardcore Championship, the United States Championship, and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

Rhino’s statement makes it clear that he’s not hanging up his boots just yet. No word yet on what his future plans are.
