Former WWE star Charlie Haas stretchered out during Impact Wrestling tapings

As noted earlier, former WWE star Charlie Haas made his Impact Wrestling debut and he set up a match with Josh Alexander.

Later in the tapings, Haas wrestled Alexander and that led to an angle with the former ROH wrestlers coming out to attack both Haas and Alexander.

It’s unclear what exactly happened but Haas was hurt and he was taken out of the building on a stretcher. At this point, there is no further word on his status but we’ll pass along more news when we get it. Tommy Dreamer confirmed to the fans in attendance that Haas was legitimately hurt.

Haas has gotten himself into great shape and has alluded to personal issues in his life but he has seemingly gotten better in recent months and that is what likely led to Impact booking him. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.

UPDATE: PWInsider reports that Haas was “knocked loopy” but he was feeling better backstage.
