Former WWE Star Made His TNA Debut At Turning Point

Former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle made his TNA debut tonight. Riddle replaced Trey Miguel, who was unable to appear due to travel issues, teaming with Zach Wentz and KUSHIDA to take on Ace Austin and The Hardys.

Riddle’s arrival in TNA marks a new chapter in his career after a controversial exit from WWE. He was released in September 2023 following multiple violations of the company’s wellness policy and allegations of misconduct. Since then, “The Original Bro” has been making waves on the independent circuit, competing for promotions like MLW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, where he even captured the NJPW World Television Championship.

The Hardys won the match after Jeff pinned KUSHIDA after hitting the Swanton Bomb. There’s no word on if Riddle has signed a long term deal, is on a handshake agreement or if this is just a one-time appearance.
