Former WWE star officially signs with TNA Wrestling

Impact Wrestling has made a notable full-time talent signing heading into 2024, an important year as they rebrand back to TNA Wrestling starting at next month’s Hard to Kill pay-per-view event.

The announcement

The promotion announced today that KUSHIDA has signed a TNA Wrestling contract after regularly competing for the promotion since 2022. He was previously under a per-show-based contract.

TNA touted the former WWE star would take his career to the next level.

Success

KUSHIDA was previously under contract with WWE from 2019-2022. Prior to signing with WWE, KUSHIDA made a name for himself as he was one of the most decorated junior heavyweights in NJPW history.

While in NJPW, he is a six-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

KUSHIDA joins Trent Seven and Leon Slater stars who recently signed with TNA Wrestling. His last NJPW match was in November.

His last match with TNA was in September, where he wrestled at Victory Road and the 1000th episode of Impact.
