A historic championship matchup is official for next Tuesday’s episode of IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT has announced that Tessa Blanchard will be defending the IMPACT World Championship against Taya Valkyrie on next week’s program. It’s a historic matchup as it’s the first time ever that two women will be competing for the IMPACT World Championship, a title traditionally carried by men. This isn’t the first time Blanchard and Valkyrie have crossed paths inside the ring.
Valkyrie holds a win over Blanchard in which she won the IMPACT Knockouts Championship, sparking the beginning of her 377-day title reign. You can check out the updated card for next week’s IMPACT Wrestling below.
