Impact Wrestling has offered William Regal a spot with the company

On today’s Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer said he has offered William Regal a job at Impact Wrestling:

“If you look at management, and you look at, let’s say, the New York Giants, their G.M. is retiring, and then there goes the head coach that he picked. There goes everyone associated with that person. Triple H is no longer in charge, and everyone associated with him is gone. The only guy who’s remained is Shawn (Michaels), but Shawn was a Vince guy before he was a Triple H guy. Regal, the moment I heard (he was let go), I shot him a text and said, ‘If you want to be a commentator at Impact or if you want to be a General Manager figure, just let me know.’ He will have something when he chooses to.”

Tommy Dreamer said at the end of Hard to Kill, Tom Hannifan was crying:

“I was there live (at Hard to Kill). I gave him some tips. At the end of Hard to Kill, he was crying. He went back and said, ‘Thank you for giving me my passion back.’

He continued, “He had one person, and that was me, tell him to say something, and that was after two days. He had one person in his headset, that I know of, for two days of his job. He was able to be himself. He’s an excellent host. He can be a great commentator, he can be a great announcer, and he’s a great host because he’s the storyteller of the show. It moves throughout where he can take you from segment to segment and you don’t feel like you’re missing anything. I’m a big, big fan of his, and I’m happy he’s found a home. After the PPV, he was in tears. I thought something was wrong, and he sent a note to Scott D’Amore that said, ‘Thank you for letting me find my passion back.’ He thanked all the boys and he was like, ‘What a friggin’ PPV.’ Just to get there and do your job of something you’ve loved for years is awesome, it’s awesome to see, and it’s awesome to be around.”
