The upcoming Barbed Wire Massacre match between LAX and oVe apparently will not air on Pop TV. Konnan was asked about the match on Twitter and he said that the decision was made to air it on Twitch because Pop TV deemed the match too violent.

The decision to pull the match from Pop TV must have been made within the last few hours because Impact Wrestling was advertising it for Pop on Thursday night.
For the first time in a decade. For only the third time ever.

For those of you not aware, Impact Wrestling has inked a deal to air their content on Twitch, similar to what Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore is doing on the service. You can follow Impact’s Twitch channel at twitch.tv/impactwrestling.

Some more Impact Wrestling news and notes:
– Tommy Dreamer is working backstage as a producer at this week’s tapings in Orlando.
– Sonjay Dutt was not at the tapings because he is not cleared to fly after undergoing ankle surgery. Dutt indicated on Twitter that the surgery went well.
Thanks to everyone checking in. Surgery went perfect last week! Unfortunately, doctor will not clear me to fly. Sadly, I won’t make it to @IMPACTWRESTLING this week. It pains me so much to not be there, but I know everyone will kill it!

– PWInsider reported that Impact tried to bring in Pat Kenney as a producer for this week’s tapings but he’s been busy with his real estate business.
– The latest on Moose is that he suffered a torn lateral collateral ligament in his knee at the tapings but it’s nothing too serious that would cause him to miss the rest of the tapings.
