Josh Mathews Is Gone From TNA Wrestling

Josh Mathews is no longer with TNA Wrestling.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported the news today on Twitter. No further details were given as to why he departed. We will update this article when that changes.

Mathews joined TNA Wrestling in 2014 as their lead play-by-play commentator, replacing Mike Tenay. He brought his experience from WWE to the commentary table as a color and lead announcer.

In recent years, Mathews has transitioned more into a behind-the-scenes role. His primary focus was now as a senior producer and senior director of digital media. Mathews has yet to comment on the news.
