Matt Hardy has returned to TNA Wrestling with his Broken gimmick.
It happened on Saturday night at the Rebellion pay-per-view event when he closed the show by attacking TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose after he had retained the title over Nic Nemeth in the main event.
Once he appeared, the fans started the delete chants. He originally introduced the character in the promotion years ago. His AEW contract expired in March, and he confirmed having talks with both WWE and AEW.

Coming out of the show, fans wondered what Hardy’s status was with TNA Wrestling, whether he was under a full-time deal or on a per-show basis.
He addressed this on Twitter, where he noted in a response to a fan that he’s still a free agent.

No. I’m a free agent. I will appear when I want to appear.
