Matt Hardy Confirms The Hardy Boyz Have Signed New Contracts With TNA

Matt Hardy has confirmed that The Hardy Boyz have re-signed with TNA. Taking to Twitter, the TNA World Tag Team Champion addressed recent speculation regarding his and Jeff Hardy’s contract status. He responded to a post featuring an interview where he discussed the team’s impact on TNA’s business.

“This chat was a fun dive into myself & @JEFFHARDYBRAND’s brotherly relationship as well as a discussion about the Hardys’ effect on @ThisIsTNA’s business at 44:40,” Hardy wrote. “Thanks for a very compelling combo, @MikeGilbert311. BTW, we’ve been re-signed for a while. Merry Christmas, guys!”

This confirmation comes after a recent report from Fightful Select indicated that the duo had not yet officially signed new deals. That report indicated that TNA had been utilizing short-term monthly deals for many of its talents to maintain flexibility ahead of the company’s move to AMC in mid-January.

According to previous reports, sources said that while a deal was expected to be finalized “very soon,” it was not official at the time. Hardy’s comment clarifies that the long-term agreement has already been secured.

The Hardy Boyz are currently in the midst of their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions, having held the titles for 154 days. This comes as TNA prepares for a significant transition in 2026. The company’s next major event, Hard To Kill, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, in Las Vegas.
