Host Jon Alba brought up a recent report that The Hardy Boyz are among several TNA talents whose contracts are coming up for renewal soon. When asked if he could comment on his status, Matt Hardy kept his answer brief and mysterious. “We may have re-signed already, who knows,” Hardy replied, leaving their official long-term status open to speculation.
Sticking Around for the Next Generation
Hardy also reiterated his long-term goal in wrestling, which is to remain an active performer long enough to see his own sons enter the business. This desire could factor into any decision he makes regarding his future contracts.
“I just want to make it. All I got to do is, you know, stick it out a few more years. Soon, as soon as my boys get on, if I’m just going to be their corner, man, I’m going to be there.”
