The crowd chanted “TNA” as the match commenced. The competitors moved to ringside, where Santana executed a dive onto Kazarian. Kazarian responded by performing a belly-to-belly suplex on Santana on the floor.

Following a commercial break, Kazarian maintained offensive control. Santana responded with a sequence that included an enzuigiri, a superkick, and a stunner, resulting in a near fall. The competitors moved to the top rope, where Santana performed a Spanish Fly followed by a Code Red, which resulted in a two-count.

Kazarian raised his knees to block a cannonball attempt by Santana. He followed with the Angel’s Wings and a springboard leg drop, both resulting in two-counts.

Referee Incapacitation and Title Change

Kazarian attempted to use the championship belt as a weapon. The official confiscated the object, but during the subsequent sequence, Kazarian dropkicked Santana into the referee, rendering the official unconscious.

Santana performed his finishing move, “Spin the Block,” but no official was available to count the pinfall. While Santana checked on the referee, Kazarian struck him with the title belt.

Kazarian executed a “Fade to Black” on the ring apron, but Santana kicked out of the pin attempt. Santana performed a Canadian Destroyer followed by another “Spin the Block.” Kazarian kicked out of the first attempt, but Santana connected with a second “Spin the Block” to secure the pinfall and the victory.

TNA President Carlos Silva entered the ring and celebrated with the new World Champion.
