As expected, MVP is out of the TNA Slammiversary main event this Sunday due to his knee injury. Eric Young will defend the TNA title in a 3 way cage match. His opponents will be determined earlier in the night. The winners of the Austin Aries vs. Kenny King and Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley matches will  get inserted into the main event.
TNA waited until after Impact to announce this since last night’s Impact was taped weeks ago before MVP’s injury.
