For those of you that missed this week’s episode of GFW Impact, the man formerly known as John Morrison (or Johnny Mundo if you are a fan of Lucha Underground) made his debut as Johnny Impact. They teased his debut last week with a video that aired at the end of the show but this week was his in-ring debut. He will be getting a main event push as they head into Bound For Glory in October.
Eli Drake entered at number 2 but outlasted everyone in the Gauntlet For The Gold to become the new GFW Global Champion. That’s the title that was held by Alberto El Patron before he was stripped due to his issues outside of the ring.
