There was an incident outside of the Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Mexico City on Friday night between Konnan and Psicosis II (not the WCW Psicosis, who is close friends with Konnan).
It started last month when Psicosis II noted on Twitter that he wouldn’t be appearing on AAA TV until Konnan is gone from the company.
Konnan responded and said that he saw Psicosis II at the AAA offices and he never said anything to his face. Konnan went on to say that if Psicosis II thinks he is such a top star then why isn’t he with another promotion such as ROH, NXT, 205 Live, MLW, Impact Wrestling, AEW, etc.
Psicosis II responded by saying that he would meet him face to face in January and that is what he did on Friday night. He showed up without his mask to confront Konnan and then ended up slapping him. Konnan, not wanting to get into a fight in the street, did not engage and things eventually calmed down. For anyone wondering, this is not part of an angle.
