RVD & Sabu set to wrestle at Impact’s United We Stand event

Rob Van Dam, also known as RVD, is slated to make his return to Impact Wrestling alongside longtime friend Sabu.

Impact Wrestling announced the news on Friday’s episode of their flagship show on the Pursuit Channel and Twitch. The two pro wrestlers are slated to work the “United We Stand” event on April 4th during WrestleMania from the Rahway Recreation Center in Rahway, New Jersey. The show starts at 11 PM and will air on Twitch.

RVD has cut down on his pro wrestling schedule in recent years as he’s only worked a handful of shows since his latest stint with the WWE which is fine as he has put in the hard work of creating a successful career for himself

Impact touted the news by writing in a press release, “Rob Van Dam and Sabu will face Pentagon Jr. and Fenix in a must see dream match! An instant classic if there ever was one! RVD and Sabu return to IMPACT Wrestling. We can’t wait for this tag team clash. This will be a special night with the return of RVD, a former IMPACT Wrestling World Champion and the first time RVD and Sabu have met Pentagon Jr. and Fenix in tag team action. It all goes down live on Twitch, but on the biggest wrestling weekend of the year, this one will be must see in person!”

This will be the first time that RVD and Sabu have teamed together since WrestleCon 2015 where they wrestled Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy.
