Scott D’Amore Addresses TNA Status And Sends Message To Roster
Scott D’Amore, the former President of TNA Wrestling, has addressed the frequent questions he receives regarding the company he helped revitalize. Writing in his D’Amore Drop column, D’Amore clarified his stance on commenting on the promotion’s current state while expressing his continued support for the brand.
D’Amore noted that he is often asked about TNA both privately and online. He established a personal boundary regarding these inquiries, stating, “It does not feel right for me to weigh in on the day-to-day running of the company.”
“A Lot Of Love”
Despite his departure from the promotion in early 2024, D’Amore emphasized that his affection for the brand remains strong. He wrote, “I will always have a lot of love in my heart for those three initials, and I am happy for the people there.”
He concluded his thoughts with a message directed at the current staff and those who aided in the brand’s resurgence over the last several years. “To everyone at TNA today (people I know and people who are new) and to all the people who contributed to the rebirth of TNA over the years: TNA Wrestling — we are f***ing back!”
D’Amore was a pivotal figure in the rebranding of Impact Wrestling back to TNA Wrestling, a move that culminated in 2024. Since his exit, he has focused on the relaunch of the Canadian promotion Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.
