The IInspiration, the team of Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee, have won the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship. They defeated The Elegance Brand on Saturday night at the taping in Edmonton, Alberta, to begin their second reign with the titles.
The championship match was the result of a storyline that began at the “Against All Odds” event on June 6, 2025. At that show, McKay and Lee returned to TNA and confronted the then-champions, The Elegance Brand.
With this win, The IInspiration are the only team to have held both the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship and the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Their first reign with the Knockouts titles began in their TNA (then Impact Wrestling) debut match at Bound for Glory in October 2021, where they defeated Decay.
Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee were previously in WWE for six years, where they performed as Billie Kay and Peyton Royce in a team called The IIconics. At WrestleMania 35, they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. This victory made them the first all-Australian tag team champions in WWE history.
After being forced to disband as a team in WWE in August 2020, both McKay and Lee were released from the company in April 2021. They made their debut as The IInspiration for Impact Wrestling in October 2021, but announced in April 2022 that they would be indefinitely stepping away from in-ring action before returning to TNA in June 2025.
McKay and Lee are real-life friends who both attended Westfields Sports High School in Australia. They were trained by Madison Eagles and wrestled in the Australian independent scene for promotions like Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance (PWWA) before being signed by WWE in 2015.
