Steve Maclin Wins TNA International Championship At Bound For Glory

Steve Maclin is the new TNA International Champion, having defeated Frankie Kazarian tonight at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view. The victory marks a significant moment for Maclin, who captured the title with his mother watching from the front row.

The match featured an early interaction between Kazarian and Maclin’s mother, who gave the then-champion the double bird after he argued with her. The back-and-forth contest saw several near falls. Kazarian hit a Cutter for a two-count, but Maclin was able to continue.

Later in the match, Maclin came off the top rope with a headbutt, but Kazarian moved out of the way. Kazarian then placed Maclin upside down against the turnbuckle and charged at him, but Maclin escaped and reversed the position.

The finish came when Maclin charged in with a shoulder tackle to the cornered Kazarian, followed by his signature K.I.A. for the pinfall victory. After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva entered the ring and presented the new champion with the TNA International Championship title. Click here for complete TNA Bound For Glory results.
