Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay, the tag team known as The IInspiration, returned to TNA Wrestling on the “Against All Odds” pre-show last night in Tempe, Arizona. The duo appeared during an in-ring segment involving The Elegance Brand (current TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Ash & Heather). Upon their arrival, Lee and McKay stated their intention to challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team titles.
This appearance marks their official return to the promotion after they announced they were stepping away from professional wrestling in April 2022. During their previous TNA run, which began in late 2021 following their release from WWE, The IInspiration defeated Decay (Havoc and Rosemary) to win the Knockouts Tag Team titles. This victory made them the first team to have held women’s tag team championships in both WWE and TNA.
Lee and McKay had announced their return to professional wrestling earlier this year. Their first match back took place during WrestleMania weekend in April 2025 at Prestige Wrestling’s “Nothing to Lose” event, where they faced the team of Kylie Rae and Nicole Matthews.
Prior to ever joining TNA, both performers were longtime members of the WWE roster, where they were known as The IIconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay). As The IIconics, they won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.
Following their return at “Against All Odds,” TNA immediately made a new t-shirt for The IInspiration available for purchase on its official online store. The main event of last night’s show featured Trick Williams defending the TNA World Championship against Elijah.
