Sources familiar with the situation told Fightful that things appear to be trending toward an environment where TNA talent cannot wrestle AEW talent anywhere. Nemeth is said to be pushing to remain on the card.
The backstory involves TNA President Carlos Silva. The immediate reaction from TNA was that Silva had been okay with TNA wrestlers working MLP shows. However, people close to MLP heard that Silva was unhappy about AEW running Collision opposite TNA Impact last week. That scheduling decision was made by Warner Bros. Discovery, as AEW has benefited from college basketball lead-in ratings on weekends.
