There Is Reportedly Growing Concern TNA Will Pull Wrestlers From Matches Against AEW Talent

TNA talent is being pulled from MLP Multiverse, and the situation could expand further. Fightful Select reports that Moose has been pulled from the upcoming MLP Multiverse show. He was previously approved for the event, though TNA sources indicated a scheduling conflict may have been a factor in his removal.

The more pressing concern now is whether Leon Slater and Nic Nemeth will follow. Slater vs. Ricochet and Nemeth vs. MJF had been planned for the event. Sources familiar with the situation told Fightful that things appear to be trending toward an environment where TNA talent cannot wrestle AEW talent anywhere. Nemeth is said to be pushing to remain on the card.

The backstory involves TNA President Carlos Silva. The immediate reaction from TNA was that Silva had been okay with TNA wrestlers working MLP shows. However, people close to MLP heard that Silva was unhappy about AEW running Collision opposite TNA Impact last week. That scheduling decision was made by Warner Bros. Discovery, as AEW has benefited from college basketball lead-in ratings on weekends.

Fightful reached out to Silva for comment, but did not receive a response.
