As noted, TNA has added a second set of three tapings in New York City at the Grand Ballroom in the Manhattan Center for August, 5th, 6th, and 7th. They will also be taping television in Bethlehem, PA on June 19th and 20th and five shows in New York from June 25 to June 27. They are taping five or six shows for the August shows in New York so those could end up being the last TV tapings for Spike. There is still no word on a Spike deal.
Last week I spoke with a TNA rep and the word on the TNA-Spike deal is “there is nothing to report.”
Dave Meltzer reports that tickets for the first set of New York shows are not selling well at all. Front row tickets are sold for all three nights but there are tons of ringside seats left and the building only holds 800 people and New York City shows for other promotions typically sell fast.
