Jacob Cohen, the wrestling fan who claimed he was unfairly removed from the recent TNA Turning Point taping, has provided an update on the situation. In a new post on X, Cohen revealed that TNA officials contacted him directly to apologize for the incident and how it was handled.
Cohen shared the resolution in his post: “I would like to offer an update. I had a call with TNA Officials this morning, they apologized for what happened and have taken a few steps to remedy the situation so issues like this don’t occur in the future. It’s easy to make a mistake, I appreciate them taking steps to fix it.”
He also took the time to thank those who had reached out to him after his story gained significant attention online. “I also want to thank everyone that has reached out to me with kind words over the last 36 hours, I’m sincerely grateful for each and every one of you. I’ve made so many friends through all of my wrestling journeys over the last few decades (I’m getting old) and I love you all”.
The incident began when Cohen claimed he was ejected from the TNA taping over allegations of filming the show. He stated that despite showing management he wasn’t recording, he was still removed from the event and told he would not be receiving a refund. While Cohen denied filming, he was actively sharing spoiler images from the event on his social media account.
The situation drew a response from many fans and even AEW President Tony Khan, who replied to Cohen’s original post by making it clear he was “more than welcome” to attend future AEW or ROH events. TNA Wrestling had not commented publicly on the matter.
