TNA Hopeful To Sign Former AEW Star

TNA Wrestling is reportedly in conversations with free agent Bear Bronson regarding an appearance at their upcoming television tapings. According to a report from Fightful Select, the promotion intends for Bronson to work the tapings scheduled for El Paso, Texas. TNA is set to hold its Final Resolution event and subsequent iMPACT! tapings at the El Paso County Coliseum from December 5 through December 7.

Sources within the company have indicated that they are “hopeful” they can sign Bronson to a contract if the appearance goes well. The tapings would mark a significant opportunity for the heavyweight to secure a televised home following his departure from AEW earlier this year.

“Insane” Schedule

Since his AEW deal lapsed at the start of 2025, Bronson has maintained a prolific schedule on the independent circuit. The report notes that he has wrestled “almost 90 times” since the start of March, working for various promotions including Wrestling Open, ICW, and Game Changer Wrestling (GCW). This grind has seemingly caught the attention of major promotions looking to bolster their rosters.

AEW Interest & History

Bronson is best known for his tenure in All Elite Wrestling, where he competed as one-half of the tag teams Bear Country and The Iron Savages. His deal with the company reportedly lapsed at the beginning of the year, leading to his current free agency run.

Interestingly, the report from Fightful Select also mentions that an AEW source recently confirmed the company had interest in potentially bringing Bronson back. With TNA now making a concrete move to book him for their upcoming tapings, Bronson could find himself the subject of a contract battle between the two organizations.
