TNA Impact Spoilers: Two More Matches Set For Bound For Glory, Former WWE Star Appears

TNA Wrestling held its latest set of television tapings on September 5 from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The tapings featured the official announcement of two more matches for the company’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound for Glory, which is scheduled for October 12. The spoilers from the taping, courtesy of ProWrestling.net, have set the stage for what is shaping up to be a loaded card for the event.

The first announcement from the taping was the official confirmation of the stipulation for the legendary tag team encounter between The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D. The two teams came to the ring and officially agreed that their final encounter would be a Tables Match. The match will also serve as the official retirement match for D-Von Dudley.

The other match made for Bound for Glory is a grudge match between Frankie Kazarian and Steve Maclin. The segment at the taping saw Kazarian bring out Mr. Anderson (formerly Mr. Kennedy in WWE) and mock Maclin’s military background. This led to an attack on Anderson by Jake Something, and Maclin eventually came out to make the save, leading to the match being made official.

The tapings also featured an angle in the TNA World Championship picture. After his victory over AJZ, Mike Santana called out the reigning TNA World Champion, Trick Williams. This led to the surprise appearance of former WWE star Ridge Holland, who attacked Santana, seemingly inserting himself into the main event scene.

In other action from the tapings, The Hardy Boyz successfully defended their TNA Tag Team Championships against The Nemeths, Mustafa Ali defeated Brian Myers, and Mance Warner won a 10-person intergender battle royal. In the Knockouts division, it was announced that Masha Slamovich will face the new Knockouts World Champion, Ash By Elegance, at Bound for Glory, with Indi Hartwell serving as the special guest referee.
