On Friday night, TNA Wrestling held its TV tapings. The episodes are slated to air in the coming weeks on AXS TV.
NXT stars Wolfgang, Riley Osborne, and Dante Chen all showed up, while former WWE NXT star Xyon Quinn made his debut. Chen was part of an Ultimate X qualifying match, and Wolfgang faced Joe Hendry.

– Hammerstone def. Eric Young. Steve Maclin interacted with Young during the match while on commentary.
– The System and JDC did a promo. Alisha said she is sick of people saying the System is a failure. Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards promised to get the TNA World Tag Titles back. Moose addressed Mike Santana by noting he’s not afraid of him. This set up a match for next week.
– Santino and Mike Bailey cut a backstage promo talking about the return of Ultimate X.

– KUSHIDA def Jonathan Gresham
* TNA Knockouts Open Challenge: Jordynne Grace fought Rosemary and went to a no contest when Ash by Elegance came down and attacked both women.
Josh Alexander did an in-ring promo. He took shots at Joe Hendry, saying he isn’t a wrestler but a meme. He said that the fans would call Nic Nemeth a transitional champion, like they did in WWE. It led to a back-and-forth promo before Nic laid out Alexander, setting up a title match for next week.

– Joe Hendry def. Wolfgang. Before the bout, Hendry talked about Gallus attacking him last week and then hit Wolfgang in the head with a mic.
– Rhino & Sami Callihan def. First Class.
– Steve Maclin def. Xyon Quinn.
– Xia Brookside def. Mila Moore.
– Ultimate X Qualifying Match: Riley Osbourne def. Chris Bey & John Skyler
– Gisele Shaw def, Tasha Steelz
– The System attacked Mike Santana in the back and then came down to the ring. Alisha said Santana wasn’t cleared to face Moose. However, Santana’s music hit, and he came through the crowd.
Moose defeated Santana. Post-match, the System attacked Santana until Joe Hendry made the save with a chair. Hendry said there was strength in numbers, and next week, two of the System’s enemies would face JDC and Moose in The Hardys.
– Ultimate X Qualifying Match: Jason Hotch def. Ace Austin & Rich Swann.
– TNA World Championship Match: Nic Nemeth and Josh Alexander fought to a 30-minute time limit. After adding five more minutes, Alexander nailed Nemeth with a chair and hit a low blow, then asked for five more minutes. That request was turned down. Kazarian came out to attack Nemeth, but PCO and Steph DeLander made the save.
