TNA has offered Kurt Angle a non-wrestling contract. The deal is similar to Angle’s deal with Bellator MMA in terms of he would not be competing for the promotion, but rather be an ambassador and face of the promotion. Angle would also be working with the younger talents at the events as an agent. It should be noted that Angle has not signed the contract yet.
Angle told si.com about the news:
“TNA has been really great to me, and they just offered me another contract to come back and be the face of the company and do something to teach the guys,” said Angle. “I’m taking that under consideration because they’ve always been loyal to me.”
Angle has said in previous interviews that he is not retiring from pro wrestling, but wants to take a break from the business to focus on acting and other interests.
Angle’s last matches with TNA is on the TNA U.K tour next week.
