TNA President Carlos Silva has confirmed that the TNA Hall of Fame will be an important part of the company’s future under its new leadership. In a new interview ahead of this weekend’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, Silva stated that the tradition will not only continue but will have an added focus going forward.
TNA Hall Of Fame To Continue With ‘Added Focus’
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp, Carlos Silva addressed the future of the company’s Hall of Fame, which had some inconsistent years under previous regimes. He confirmed the tradition will remain and that TNA has hired former NFL Hall of Fame Executive Producer George Veras to help bring a fresh vision to the honor.
A Bound For Glory Tradition
The TNA Hall of Fame induction ceremony has traditionally been a part of the company’s biggest show of the year, Bound For Glory, since its inception in 2012. The plan is for the ceremony to continue to be a cornerstone of the annual pay-per-view event.
The TNA Hall of Fame honors the legacy of the wrestlers who built the company. Previous inductees into the prestigious group include iconic names such as Sting, Kurt Angle, Team 3D, Gail Kim, and Abyss, among others. The new focus under George Veras is expected to further elevate the honor for future classes.
