TNA Wrestling is heading toward a significant transition period as it prepares to move its flagship show, Thursday Night IMPACT, to AMC on January 15, 2026. However, before the move takes place, the promotion must address the status of several key talents whose contracts are set to expire in the next month.
According to a report from Fightful Select, contracts for Mustafa Ali, AJ Francis, Jake Something, The Rascalz, Jody Threat, and Steve Maclin are all up within the next month. Additionally, several notable names are currently working without signed deals, including Matt Cardona, Rich Swann, The IInspiration, and Cedric Alexander. The report notes that TNA is expected to hold talks regarding extensions within the next week.
While the timing seems tight, Fightful Select reports that this delay was not entirely TNA’s choice in every instance. A couple of talents explicitly stated they wanted to wait until the new television deal was officially announced before entering negotiations with the Anthem-owned promotion.
As the company looks to secure its current roster, it is also bringing in new faces. Reports indicate that former AEW talent Bear Bronson is scheduled to appear at TNA’s upcoming tapings in El Paso, Texas. The tapings begin with Final Resolution on Friday, December 5, followed by two days of IMPACT tapings on December 6 and 7.
