Davey Richards suffered a knee injury at Sunday’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Birmingham, England. According to TNA’s twitter account, he suffered a “meniscus issue” and an MRI is scheduled.
This is a bad break for Richards and TNA because he and Eddie Edwards recently signed a new deal exclusive deal with the company. Richards has been plagued by injuries in the last couple of years. He suffered a bad concussion last July and that prevented him from flying. He was also out of action for part of 2014 with a broken leg. Sunday’s show in Birmingham was the last of the current UK tour and the last show in the recent set of TV tapings.
Hopefully this injury is not too serious.

UPDATE: Richards is planning to return to college on Monday for an exam when he lands in the US before going to the doctor. The early belief is he tore his meniscus.
