TNA Star On Tessa Blanchard’s Return To The Promotion: “Everyone Deserves A Second Chance”

Tessa Blanchard returned to TNA Wrestling at the Final Resolution special to start a feud with Jordynne Grace and was met with mixed reactions from fans and those in the promotion.

Blanchard had a falling out with TNA in 2020, which led to her being stripped of the World Title and being fired after refusing to drop the title when requested. The world was in the middle of a pandemic at the time, and she feared she wouldn’t be able to get back home to Mexico if she traveled to the US.

There have been allegations of racial slurs and bullying behavior from several wrestlers made against her. Blanchard and La Rosa Negra, the alleged target of the racial slurs, have shared photos of each other since then.

Brian Myers was asked about Blanchard’s return while doing a K & S WrestleFest virtual signing.

“I think… everyone deserves a second chance. I missed all the drama that went on. It was before my time. So, I think time will tell. You got to rip the Band-Aid off, see what happens. I do think she’s a very talented performer. I don’t know her personally, like, whatsoever. So, it is what it is, you know?

Blanchard told Contralona earlier this month that she is not under contract with TNA Wrestling despite her return to the promotion.
