TNA Star Undergoes Surgery After Suffering Injury At TV Tapings

On Sunday night, TNA Wrestling held its TV tapings. The episodes are slated to air in the coming weeks on AXS TV.

During the tapings, Chris Bey was injured and was stretchered out after teaming with Ace Austin against TNA Tag Team Champions The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy). The match was the main event for the November 7th episode of Impact.

Fightful reports that it’s still unclear how the injury exactly happened, but it looked to be a serious injury. Bey ended up being taken to the hospital with a neck injury and underwent surgery.

The report stated, “We’re told that he’s recovering, but details beyond that will be kept private. Bey is widely adored within TNA Wrestling, and was a big part of the company repairing its relationship with NJPW.”

NJPW requested to use him for dates years ago after years of not working with TNA. We wish Bey a speedy recovery.
