TNA Wrestling Reportedly Heading To AMC

TNA Wrestling appears to be moving its television programming to a new home in 2026. On Monday night, AMC posted a teaser video on social media featuring the date “January 15, 2026” and the sound of a live crowd cheering. This date falls on a Thursday, which is the night TNA has traditionally aired its flagship show, Impact, on AXS TV. Following the teaser, Jon Alba of Sports Illustrated reported that the belief within the industry is that TNA is moving to AMC Networks.

Announcement Timeline

The official confirmation of this move could come very soon. Fightful reported that the television deal might be announced as early as Tuesday. Additionally, TNA is scheduled to hold a talent call on Tuesday to address the situation and inform the roster about the future of the company’s broadcast distribution.

Ongoing Negotiations

This development follows months of speculation regarding TNA’s television rights. In October, TNA President Carlos Silva noted that the company was in active negotiations for a new deal. Throughout the year, various reports linked TNA to different networks, with the CW mentioned as a potential landing spot. Last month, Alba reported that TNA was expected to announce a new deal by the end of the year, citing high-ranking industry sources. Alba was also the first to report that AMC Networks had come out as a potential home for the promotion.

Network Reach And Profile

A move to AMC would place TNA on a network with significant reach and a history of airing high-profile original programming. AMC has made a name for itself with blockbuster series such as Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. The network is part of a portfolio that includes BBC America, Sundance TV, We TV, and IFC.
