They bid farewell to the promotion after wrestling their final match under the banner of the promotion. Santana posted a statement to thank Impact for the opportunities LAX were given. He wrote the following:

“Last night we wrestled our final match with @impactwrestling. Our appreciation and gratitude for every single person there who had a hand in helping us get to this point, is absolutely endless. THANK YOU for the opportunity to show the world our passion and commitment to this business. And most of all, for the opportunity to represent our people and culture on a big stage. Santana and Ortiz joined LAX in March 2017 where they were a big part of the tag team division and heavily used on weekly television. They were four-time Impact World Tag Team Champions.

LAX’s last match came when they faced Rich Swann & Willie Mack at TV tapings on Friday night.

It’s been reported that both WWE and AEW have interest in signing Santana and Ortiz.
